this poster was designed by the legendary dutch graphic designer wim couwel in 1968. the uk based poster company blanka have recently sent this famous poster on it’s second print run - read about how they did it in this totally rad article on creative review:

during our tumblr absence, we at odd pockets have been making new things. here is one of them: the odd pockets alphabet.
its based on herb lubalin’s : avant garde gothic.
the characters : O C and S are unchanged from avant garde gothic - uppercase extra light. everything else is new - however, most characters are based on the slightly off circle of the O.
